In collaboration with Virgen Films, we helped create a television advertisement to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Hipoglós, Argentina's most recognized baby cream brand. This project allowed us to showcase our expertise in blending animation with live-action footage, adding a distinctive touch to the campaign.
Fusing Animation and Live Action
For this campaign, Hipoglós reimagined a well-known nursery rhyme as a rock anthem, with lyrics crafted to highlight the product's qualities. At Karpo, we developed animations that combined a playful, childlike spirit with a rock and vintage flair, paying tribute to classic advertising from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. We also designed and animated a karaoke version of the song, creating an interactive experience for viewers.
Dynamic Creativity in Animated Scenes
Our team integrated animations into the live-action footage, creating dynamic scenes where animated characters, inspired by real actors, seamlessly blend with the real world. This approach enabled a fluid and creative integration between animation and live-action, enhancing the campaign's visual storytelling.
Results
The advertisement successfully captured the essence of Hipoglós, merging nostalgia with modernity. It was well-received by both the public and critics, strengthening the brand's emotional connection with its consumers.
